Job Description Support the Control system Lead engineer Act as Company technical representative at SAS vendor office in Oslo Apply pro-active co-ordinated working techniques to resolve issues and move project forward (Lead the cross company multi-discipline team) Assist EPC to manage deliverables for hardware and software modifications packages, prepare for and participate in FAT throughout Summer 2015 Ensure EPC and sub-contractor follow project automation change management procedure Co-ordinate with site commissioning teams to ensure software changes are implemented, tested and delivered to site Co-ordinate outstanding 3rd party verification activities Assist EPC to co-ordinate ongoing interface and instrument type testing Plan and prioritise site deliverables for SAT and modification work according to construction and commissioning schedules Assist Company telecomm responsible with set up of Remote Access Solution / manage parallel site activities Assist EPC with co-ordinating ongoing interface and instrument type testing Review own discipline documentation ensuring EPC and sub-contractors are working according to Det norske functional requirement, basis of design, and scope of work, applicable specifications, NORSOK and Norwegian regulatory requirements. Support Company SAS interface engineer by following up outstanding SAS interfaces and testing towards platform and Jack up Proactive risk management with focus on risk mitigating activities as required for own discipline scope and multidiscipline coordination as required Follow up TQs and changes within own disciplines Responsibilities: Proactive and positive attitude as a team member Apply best engineering quality and risk management processes and activities Network effectively, good communication skills within and outside the project Be aware of the broader perspective and how it affects the project Qualifications Required expertise: Minimum 10-15 years' experience within own discipline from engineering in major oil and gas field development projects for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
