Governance Manager | Band 8a dependent on experience | Bristol | Full Time | New position Spire Bristol has an exciting opportunity for a Governance Manager to join our fantastic team in Redland. This is a brand new position and would suit someone who has broad experience of working in the clinical governance domain. You will support the Director of Clinical Services and the Governance Lead to work on systems and processes to ensure effective clinical governance within the specialties across the hospital. With 76 beds, 5 operating theatres and the only private hospital in the South West with an Intensive Care Unit, Spire Bristol Hospital has been providing excellent care, expertise and knowledge in a supportive and progressive environment for over 32 years. Duties and responsibilities: Working closely with the Senior Management Team and all Heads of Department, you will have full responsibility for the Governance within our hospital. This will include preparation for all CQC inspections and ensuring the Hospital is compliant at all times and managing the evidence-based practice, policies and procedures. As this position is central to the continuing success of the hospital, you will have a high level of stakeholder engagement. This role involves a high amount of autonomy and the need to take a lead on complaints. You will have excellent computer skills and understanding of Safeguard or similar, able to produce detailed reports with analytical narrative but above all has a passion and commitment to be part of the division who puts patient quality and safety first.
