Job Description
Data Engineer required by a rapidly expanding AI consultancy. From disruptive software to cutting-edge technology, the company is thinking big and looking to bring the right characters into the organisation to facilitate their ideas in partnership with AWS. This is an exciting prospect which will give you the opportunity to be exposed to the latest and greatest of technologies, especially within AI, Machine Learning whilst working with high profile global clients. The successful candidate will help design and implement ETL tasks and also play an integral part in building data pipelines to be used by the cross-functional teams. Prior AWS experience using technologies such as Athena, Glue and S3 would be desired alongside ETL tools such as Matillion, Alteryx, SSIS or similar. You will also be required to work with large data sets, therefore, demonstrable experience with Data Lakes, Hadoop, MapReduce and Spark would be preferred, so any candidates experienced with those technologies will be of particular interest. As you will be working on cross-functional data pipelines with the ML and Data Science teams, prior experience of exposure of ML would be desired, however, not essential.
