Particularly popular with emerging VC and Hedge Fund Managers, more than 60 Fund Managers and Venture Capitalists rely on VAUBAN to set-up, deploy and maintain their Funds and SPVs. # What you'll be doing: We are looking for a Compliance Officer to run the compliance side of our Investment Vehicles Formation business. In that role you will be responsible of ensuring that our manual and procedures are always up to date, make sure all clients and investors onboarding are completed safely and in good time and generally handling the compliance matters of the cmpany. That includes: * Onboarding: Ensure a smooth but compliant on-boarding for our new clients: Coordinate the KYC/AML of extremely complex entities involving trusts, funds, nominees, international corporations etc. * Problem Solving: Solve complex Compliance situations. * Liaising, in regards to compliance matters, with various service providers around the world, including Tax specialists, lawyers,Trust companies, bankers and notaries. * Regulatory: Prepare the company to be fully FCA ready if we want to become regulated. * Policies: Amend and refine our compliance manual and procedures as needed. * Constantly build and optimise processes, always seek to reduce friction, to drive the costs down for the company and improve clients satisfaction. # What you'll need * Mastering of JMLSG's guidelines * Mastering of FATCA/CRS * Mastering of complex KYC/AML situations involving many entities around the world * Leadership: You must be of optimistic nature, constantly driving people around you to give the best of themselves and to keep a positive attitude * An attraction for the alternative investment industry * Ability to draft a Compliance Policy and Manual # What we can offer you: * Opportunity to join a rocket-ship before it takes off: Vauban is one of the fastest growing LegalTech/FinTech startup in the UK and it just received VC funding * Opportunity to work in an amazing atmosphere * Opportunity to be one of the first senior hire of the company with plenty of responsibilities from week one, having dramatic impact on the firm success * The thrill of having full freedom in running operations * Competitive Package that can include Equity Employment Type: FULL_TIME
