Job Description
The Role * Completion of daily payroll for the following payroll services: Umbrella, PAYE Umbrella, Outsourced Umbrella, CIS, Deemed, Outsourced * Adhere to existing Payroll Controls for accurate payroll compliance and introduce new effective controls where gaps are found * Be accountable for validations and reconciliations * Statutory payments * Advances * Undertake the year-end project * RTI reconciliations * CIS returns * Manage the workplace pension scheme and salary sacrifice arrangements * Good working knowledge of expenses processes for those employees that work under Supervision, Direction and Control * Bank Reconciliations * Responsible for the bank reconciliations which is our control to ensure cash is well managed and there is minimal debt * Targets and analysis * To ensure all Departmental SLAs are met * A desire to analyse the team output and publish KPI updates on a regular basis * Identifying any areas for improvement, and implementing an action plan to remedy and improve. * Working with the Service Manager to improve customer feedback Education/Qualifications * CIPP qualification * CIPP Foundation Degree Experience * Minimum 5 years payroll experience * High Volume transaction processing * Strong excel skills and outlook skills * Excellent customer service skills * Sage 50 experience * Umbrella payroll experience * CIS experience * Recruitment experience Responsibilities: The Role Completion of daily payroll for the following payroll services: Umbrella, PAYE Umbrella, Outsourced Umbrella, CIS, Deemed, Outsourced Adhere to existing Payroll Controls for accurate payroll compliance and introduce new effective controls where gaps are found Be accountable for validations and reconciliations Statutory payments Advances Undertake the year-end project RTI reconciliations CIS returns Manage the workplace pension scheme and salary sacrifice arrangements Good working knowledge of expenses processes for those employees that work under Supervision, Direction and Control Bank Reconciliations Responsible for the bank reconciliations which is our control to ensure cash is well managed and there is minimal debt Targets and analysis To ensure all Departmental SLAs are met A desire to analyse the team output and publish KPI updates on a regular basis * Identifying any areas for improvement, and implementing an action plan to remedy and improve.
