ABOUT CONVERSION Conversion are the largest dedicated conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and testing agency in the UK. Our team is made up of a number of specialists and generalists with skills spanning: copywriting, behavioural psychology, user research, analytics, UX design, frontend development, and project management. We've delivered results for clients ranging from one-person lead generation sites to the likes of Canon, Domino's and UNICEF. ABOUT THE ROLE You'll take the lead on Conversion's approach to data and analysis. As this is a new role, we're looking for someone who's as ambitious as they are analytical. We want you to make our approach to data and web analytics 10x better than it is currently. Working with our consultants, you'll turn data and insights into experiments that drive business-changing results. Then, you'll create effective reports or dashboards that showcase and model the impact of our work. In the role, you'll both optimise our approach to analytics, and will also create new products/services/processes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Client analysis * Analyse client websites to identify opportunities for experimentation. * Collaborate with clients to establish KPIs and metrics for experimentation. * Analyse user journeys, discovering and analysing key audiences/segments. * Define the protocol for analysing experiments. * Plan each client's capacity for experimentation. * Experiment analysis * Monitor and report on experiment performance, making recommendations on when to stop experiments or variations. * Dashboarding performance of individual experiments and the overall programme performance. * Model the impact of winning experiments, and calculate/present ROI. * Platforms * Working with our developers to audit implementations of web analytics, including the integration with experiment platforms. * Evaluating and implementing new tools and partners * Product * Creating and helping market new data products/services, such as implementation and training * Training * Where possible, you'll automate and/or help train the team on the above, developing our culture of experimentation. BEHAVIOURS * Highly analytical, you're comfortable both analysing and presenting data. * Collaborative and able to communicate well with technical and non-technical stakeholders, you'll work closely with our team and our clients. * Proactive in identifying and taking opportunities, you'll be expected to develop the role of analyst at Conversion. Requirements * Essential * You're highly proficient in Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics. * You've worked in teams running/analysing experiments, or have a strong desire to. * You've got the drive to lead a new function at Conversion. * Bonus * You also have experience with other analytics platforms (Amplitude, Contentsquare, etc) and related products (Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, etc), and ideally have experience (re)implementing web analytics platforms. * You've got experience working with experimentation platforms (Adobe Target, Monetate, Optimizely, etc). * You've got a good understanding of statistical analysis, and are happy talking about p-values, minimum detectable effects and sample ratio mismatch. * If you've got development experience or knowledge of R, Python, Tableau, even better.
