We are seeking someone with end-to-end, experience using instructional design (ID) processes to develop micro, and e-learning; with experience creating in-product micro-learning for SaaS products as well as longer-form e-learning courses. The candidate must be able to create content that is purpose-built for multiple modalities, to deliver an experience for our learners that is nearly identical in classroom or virtual Instructor-led training (vILT) experience or an e-learning course. The candidate will collaborate with people who primarily design, develop, and deliver classroom and virtual ILTs to ensure that the content developed is suitable for the context and environment of Forcepoint customers. Ideal candidates for this role are able to modify the HTML5 code generated by the tooling to make calls to REST APIs team to spin up interactive labs, check activities for correctness, and more. Who You Are Enjoy conceptualizing, planning, designing, and developing content that cultivates learner engagement by using technology to foster connections to create active learning experiences Interested in modern UX/UI models and best-practices. Enjoy developing technical, task-based digital learning based on solid instructional design Strong desire to learn and implement new technologies and methodologies Understand adult learning principles, methods, theories, concepts, and techniques with proven experience in creating e-learning courses using these principles Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives Work nimbly in Agile Scrum and Kanban teams to accelerate delivery, fail fast, and provide good project visibility to other teams across the organization Interested in cybersecurity and willing to build and maintain knowledge of Forcepoint products, solutions, and associated offerings Ability to work collaboratively and independently as part of a larger global team as well as a smaller local team Required / Desired Experience Bachelors in Instructional Design, Digital Arts, or equivalent (using adult learning principles, methods, theories, and techniques) for global audiences + field experience creating digital learning products, OR a master's degree in these fields OR extensive experience creating in-product microlearning. In all eventualities, a portfolio showcasing your outstanding craft - required Mastery of standard content development tools including Microsoft Office, Camtasia, Storyline and at least one online presentation tool (for example: WebEx, Zoom, Adobe Connect, etc.) - required Beginning abilities with HTML5 / JavaScript / node.js or equivalent to - required Knowledge of on-premise vs cloud and hybrid solutions, SaaS concepts - required Video, e-Learning, micro-Learning design and development with a portfolio - required Voiceover artistry capabilities, with appropriate pacing, clear enunciation and pronunciation - portfolio required Ability to plan and execute an e-learning course that is: Task-based; Based on a formal instructional design with frequent interactivity; The plan must include: Storyboard; On-screen information assets; Animations - required Excellent written and verbal skills-US English - required; other languages - desired Classroom / Virtual classroom ID / CD / training experience - desired Experience working with cybersecurity field - highly desired Mastery of web services concepts required, and REST API concepts - highly desired
