Job Description

South Petherton Hospital - Assistant House keeper A position has become available from the within our housekeeping team working the following hours: Working 3 shifts weekly totalling 15 hours Wednesday 1400 -2000 and Saturday & Sunday 1000 - 1430 (working every weekend) Please note these hours will change on occasion to fit the needs of the service. This hospital is a new state of the art building which opened to patients in June 2011. There is a 24 bedded ward, 20 stroke rehabilitation beds and 4 Primary Care beds in single or double rooms all with en suite facilities. The position will require you to work as part of a team and be responsible for the day to day cleaning duties around the hospital and will involve working to a very high standard. You must be a team player with a flexible approach to your work. Full training in the job role will be provided. In return you will receive above basic rates of pay, enhanced payments for weekend work, a generous holiday entitlement and pension scheme. Informal visits and discussions are welcomed.
