About The Role As our Accounts Payable Support you`ll support the Accounts Payable Processes, both Onshore and Offshore. You`ll support both internal and external user ensuring that we provide an excellent customer service. Key accountabilities of the Accounts Payable Support will include: Supporting with all aspects of Accounts Payable processes which include ensuring that all policies are aligned, processes and SOPs are up to date and relevant, providing a high-quality user experience. This includes the completion and validation of the production and publishing of Payment Practices Reporting, which is a legislative requirement Providing support to the wider AP team to ensure invoices are processed prior to them falling overdue and maintain knowledge of the AP invoicing process to develop and deliver systems training to requisitioners, approvers and suppliers, ensuring that they possess the requisite skills and knowledge to minimise late payments Supporting all areas of preparation of Payment Cycles (Vendors, Customers, Employee Expenses and Payroll Payment Processing) These include Payment Proposal Runs and obtaining the necessary approvals in line with Delegation of Authority (DOA) Ensuring that data quality and security standards are monitored in line with requirements, and that data and information is managed in accordance with the Information Management Framework with controls and other mechanisms being put in place to support this Working with internal and external service providers to ensure that processes are operated effectively. Provide support with process changes and efficiencies Supporting in delivery of internal and external audits requirements Assisting with identification of end to end process improvement recommendation, driving efficient ways of working Providing assistance with training requirements across all process impacting Accounts Payable Supporting with complex and adhoc queries, inclusive of emergency payments Ensuring BCM Buddysite Hardware Testing is carried out on a period basis About You You'll possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, SharePoint, Word and Excel skills (data interpretation, manipulation and pivot tables are essential within Microsoft Excel) Experience of working within a previous financial environment or similar relevant work history is desirable but not essential (i.e. SAP Ariba, SAP systems, journaling, accrual management, invoice validation, procurement process) Experience of working with SAP systems preferred but not essential Benefits At Cadent we've got a whole host of standard and flexible benefits.
