Job Description

# The Company: VAUBAN is a wealth container platform allowing emerging fund managers, entrepreneurs, family offices, and institutional investors to quickly launch and manage asset-holding entities such as Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, SPVs and Real Estate Funds. At Vauban, you will work on complex unique finance transactions. # What you'll be doing: We are looking for a dynamic professional with knowledge of financial instruments who can provide world-class support to our clients while helping us pushing further the digitization and the automation of our fund services. The position is now open to hardworking, highly organized self-starters comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You will be performing fund administration tasks such as: 1. Hedge Fund / VC Accounting * Manage the client's onboarding * Process subscriptions and redemption of the fund * Produce the NAV of the funds * Prepare annual financial statements * Prepare quarterly management accounts * Constantly review and enhance fund administration and NAV calculation processes and verification methods * Provide Audit support 2. Products Improvements * Enhancement of our NAV checklist and our fund accounting processes * You will be expected to proactively suggest and lead product improvements in our next-gen fund services. * You will be working closely with the tech team to implement improvements and pave the way towards automated fund administration. * Participate in product improvements and general corporate development The position is now open to hardworking, highly organized self-starters comfortable in a fast-paced environment. 3. Technology * Data Manipulation. You will be helping with data integration from various platforms to our system, including connecting, transforming and loading flows of data. # You will need: * Good knowledge of accounting principles * Extensive financial culture * An attraction for the alternative investment industry * Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros) * An ability to drive multiple accounts simultaneously, each at different stages, to plan, organize and complete work assignments in a timely and accurate manner * Strong attention to detail, even under pressure * Data engineering skills not mandatory but desirable, including ETL, Data Pipeline PS: An affinity with crypto markets is a plus (We have a lot of clients who are crypto hedge funds) # What we can offer you: * Opportunity to be an early joiner in a rapidly growing company with responsibility from week one * Interact with talented hedge fund managers from day one * Central London office in WeWork * Salary 35,000 - 50,000 + equity Feel free to apply even if you feel like you don't fully match the description above.
