Job Description
Role Overview This role, alongside a team of 6 reporting into the IT Development Manager/Director of Information Technology, provides support to the Investments Business. You will be an integral part of a growing IT development team to further develop a variety of various front office, Middle office and back office systems, as well as ongoing enhancements and support of internally developed applications and reports. Key Responsibilities * Development and maintenance of IT systems for the Investment business * Be involved in the inception and delivery of automated solutions to business and operational problems * Understand the data base schemas linked to the third party systems as well as internally used data with a view to delivering effective and efficient business solutions * Build relationships with other developers and across change and technology teams as well as with the business users to facilitate an effective working relationship * Working closely with the wider Change Management & Technology teams in delivering projects * Proposing business solutions and seeing them through to implementation * Development of Excel macros, Oracle view and Crystal reports as needed by the business and migration of some of these to newer technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform/Power Apps * Development using Microsoft Power Platforms: Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and use of Python Scripting * Perform all tasks in adherence to internal service levels and security controls Regulatory Responsibilities (Compliance/T&C) * Act in a compliant manner with all relevant FCA and other regulations
