Job Description Working as part of our Consumer Goods and Retail (CRS) business unit, the Global Key Account Manager will be responsible for running a number of strategic contracts. You will supply our portfolio of laboratory testing services and solutions to manufacturers who specialize in producing cosmetics, personal care and household items. You Will: * Drive and generate opportunities for revenue growth across accounts working to pre-defined KPIs and metrics; * Develop a strategic partnership between SGS and our client base. You will ensure that all contracted services are provided to the client; * Ensure the alignment and integration of services and operational deliveries in accordance with global CRS standards and client requirements; * Develop and implement both short and long-term planning for the account in consultation with laboratories and management; * Develop and implement account-specific processes and system improvement initiatives to meet company sales and objectives; * Establish where and how to maximize timelines, responsiveness and compliance to meet existing account requirements; * Liaise, oversee, and coordinate client activities, complaints, and / or resolutions or mediation processes; * Generate where possible additional opportunities for revenue growth for other SGS business lines locally and or globally; * Prepare RFI's, RFP's, Quotations and Proposals as required. Qualifications * Educated to degree level; * Background of selling products or services and solutions to the cosmetics and personal care sectors; * Experience of working in a key account management position previously and capable of using a consultative sales approach; * Background of working within an international environment and matrix organisation beneficial; * Able to network within a client's organisation to develop future business development opportunities; * Strong analytical skills and able to identify trends in client markets and complimentary SGS Services; * Able to establish effective strategic working and team relationships with internal and external staff in a collaborative manner; * Fluent in English. Ability to speak other languages would be a benefit. Additional Information This position will be based in the UK. We allow remote working.
