Senior Director, Strategic Accounts, International The Senior Director, Strategic Accounts will be a member of the management team of International team, reporting to the GM of International. This role will be responsible for the overall growth of the International business in the top 25 hospital accounts across international. The candidate will manage a global team of 5 key strategic account managers and works closely together with product management, sales and operations in the region to develop and deliver differentiating medication and supply solutions that support the strategic accounts to prevent errors, simplify their workflow and reduce costs. To succeed in this role, you will have minimum 10 years of experience in development of new software and capital business within Global Hospital Chains. You understand their challenges and find ways to support our customers in solving these challenges, you will be seen as trusted advisor of board members of these hospitals. Responsibilities: + Market analyses + Identify market, product and political developments/trends and define the impact on the International business and resulting strategy. + Win/loss analyses + Sales strategy + Define the key Strategic Accounts to focus on + Define value proposition, market messaging + Ensure appropriate Account Management tools are in place + Develop and execute promotion campaigns + Opportunity handling + Build the sales pipeline for strategic accounts + Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals + Manage the International Strategic Account team and set, measure and review their performance + Financial + Booking figure + Gross Margin + Management of the Strategic Account budget Essential + Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field + Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience with Capital Equipment sales + Strong track record of effectively selling to top-level executives in Hospital Administration in an international context + Demonstrated knowledge of contracting + Strong understanding of the Healthcare Industry + Exceptional executive selling skills + At least 5 years' prior leadership experience managing a successful Sales or Corporate Accounts team + Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) + Must be fluent in English and be able to read and write at an accomplished level. + Willingness to travel 40-50% of time between regional offices Desirable + Conversant in clinical applications and/or information technologies + Familiarity with healthcare activities.
