Lead Security Engineer - AppSec / DevSecOps - FinTech Our client is one of the world's leading Financial Technology (FinTech) companies, based in central London, in offices overlooking the Thames and the City with roof terraces, bars, a gym and flexible, remote working. They build award winning trading software and are looking for someone to lead their Security Engineering and Application Security (AppSec) team. You'll be the Lead engineer in a team of specialists, shaping the company's approach to security and implementing new strategies, creating innovative tools and implementing strategies as you see fit. You'll work with cutting edge development, engineering and DevOps teams to define secure development best practices, implement threat modelling and penetration testing and set coding standards for the entire company. You'll have a huge amount of freedom and real ownership of your work! Requirements: - Excellent experience of Application Security (AppSec) and Security Engineering - Experience implementing a secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) - A strong background of coding, development and software engineering (Java, C++, C#.NET etc) - Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Kubernets, Docker and AWS for DevSecOps would be perfect - Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 & MITRE CWE 25 - Experience delivering training for secure coding - Good experience of threat modelling and pen testing - A passionate for information security and be involved in staying up to date with developments in the AppSec field Fully Remote Interview Process!
