The Stroke and Neurology wards are fully supported by experience senior sisters and matron, the wards work as a multidicisplinary team and are a major provider for patients who have suffered a stroke / have neurological disorders. . SPRUCE ward cares for patients admitted from the Emergency department or those transferred from the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit at neighbouring UCLH. What we offer our new recruits In order to equip you with the correct knowledge, skills and attitude to become a competent and confident Registered Nurse we will provide you with: * We welcome Newly Qualified Nurses * Supernumerary orientation programme that will be individualised to your professional needs. * Preceptorship and supervision * Access to a variety of fully accredited university programmes. * Rotation programmes * Bespoke course in Caring for a patient with a stroke Barnet Hospital is located in Barnet, a vibrant suburban London Borough with excellent schools, shops and restaurants and fantastic transport links to central London. As part of an exciting new initiative, the trust is offering financial support for those who need to relocate to take up particular roles at Barnet Hospital. The trust also has a dedicated accommodation team who can provide help and advice to new starters on private rental accommodation in the local area. Want to know more?
