Our Outpatient service covers a varied and diverse caseload and spans both our main hospital site and our Diagnostic Centre. This is a new position; created to provide support for our Outpatient Manager and leadership to our highly skilled team. Duties and Responsibilities: * The Deputy Outpatient Manager will be responsible for supporting the Manager in ensuring delivery of high quality and efficient outpatient services, delivering key quality performance and financial plans and service enhancements. * Assist in the operational delivery of outpatients services ensuring the efficient running of the department; this will include clinical work in the department. * Seek and employ innovative methods of improving service delivery in line with the 5 CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE); always aiming to achieve Good and Outstanding. * To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice * Carry out both clinical and managerial duties Skills and experience: * Registered nurse with active NMC Pin * Post qualification experience of having worked in an Outpatient department * Ability to manage, motivate, support teams and develop the department * A focus on positive patient and user experience * Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives Benefits We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: * 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays * Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options * 'Spire for you' reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers * Free Bupa wellness screening * Private medical insurance * Life assurance * Save an average of 50 per month with our free onsite car park Please see the attached benefits leaflet for more information.
