Job Description
IT Manager - Steyning, West Sussex 3-6 month contract Full Time We are hiring for an IT Manager to care take the position as IT Manager for 3-6 months. The position will manage two junior IT Technician's and provide support, planning, strategy and knowledge to the business on the overall support of all IT across the company. This includes Security, VoIP, physical and virtual servers and PC's. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate leadership skills, vast knowledge of MS Server 2012, Active Directory 2012, 365 Administration. It would be highly beneficial if you had previous experience of planning improvements to minimise IT security risks to the business and experience of Azure and Azure AD. Security - Essential It is essential that you will be able to pass a criminal records security check with full disclosure. You must have resided in the UK for the past two years and either be a British Citizen or from other countries providing you have a full working Visa without limitations. As an IT Manager, your daily duties will include: * Management of two technicians * Provide support for all 3rd line support issues that are not able to resolved * Liaising with the external MSP for additional support * Planning and identifying improvements * Purchasing Hardware and Software To be a successful IT Manager you will have the following skills and experiences: Excellent MS experience with qualification. Hands on Technician Leadership skills Strong organisational skills and deliver to deadlines, whilst always striving for excellence. A positive, hardworking, 'Can Do' attitude is a must, as is drive and enthusiasm. Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, at all levels effectively. Trustworthy, reliable and honest. In return, the IT Manager will receive a salary of £42,000 per annum - Pro rata, 20 days holiday Pro-rata and enrolment onto the pension scheme.
