Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trust for 12 months as Assistant Director of Finance. This will be a key leadership role in the Finance Directorate, part of the Senior Financial Management Team, with responsibility for leading financial reporting, development of the financial strategy and the capital programme across the Trust. The role will be part of driving a forward the next phase of development of the Trust's financial reporting and performance frameworks that underpin the delivery of the Trust's mission to provide outstanding care for local communities. The role supports the Trust in driving transformation through forward planning frameworks, as well as value for money in delivery, and is designed to bring together a combination of subject matter expertise and leadership skills to deliver an outstanding forward looking finance function. You will work closely with the team that you will manage and with staff, at all levels, across the Trust to maintain financial control.
