The Role The Academy Juniors is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their passionate and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will have the ability to assist and work under the direction of the class teacher. They will be able to support and aid the learning of pupils through clarifying and explaining instructions, ensuring the use of equipment and materials and to provide continuous encouragement and motivation. Knowledge of the local and national learning strategies to enhance literacy and numeracy is also key to this role along with the ability to effectively manage pupil behaviour in line with Academy policies.
