Job Description

Mail We're looking for a talented Automation Tester to join our engineering team helping us create world-class software solutions for our customers. As a QA / Tester you will be looking after the testing and continued integrity of our software, which we deliver to companies across the UK and in over 60 countries worldwide. We'll encourage you to grow and develop in your role and support you to continuously look at new ways to aid the development process. Your responsibilities will include: * Build a great product - As a member of one of our cross-functional Scrum teams you will work closely with the Product team to shape the features that go into our product. * Automated testing - We believe in test automation. You will be expected to automate new features and help with porting our existing manual tests into our automation suite. * Manual testing - You must be able and willing to test the product manually when necessary. * Exploratory testing - Examine the product and proactively identify areas that could be improved. * Develop your skills - Nurture a genuine interest in software and keep yourself continually up to date with best practice and innovation in testing. * Continuous improvement - Look for ways to improve our product and processes, and take the initiative to drive change where necessary. * Team - player - Work closely with developers and testers within the Scrum team to ensure that features are completed and tested. * Ongoing Quality Assurance - Collaborate with our Support, Professional Services and Customer Success teams to ensure that we maintain the quality of the product after it has been released to customers. To help make sure we're delivering world-class software solutions, your technical background should include: * Proven expertise testing websites by writing automated tests in C# using Selenium * The ability to write clean, concise and maintainable test code * A strong conceptual understanding of modern full-stack web applications * Experience both writing and executing manual test cases Additionally, you would benefit from one or more of these: * Experience using SpecFlow and BDD * Ability to write tests for JavaScript code * Additional testing techniques (e.g. testing APIs, performance testing, security knowledge, etc.) * Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform (particularly App Services and Functions) To play your part in our fantastic culture, you must also: * Have superb communication skills, with the ability to convey technical detail to others, both techies and non-techies alike. * Put quality and security first. * Have meticulous attention to detail. * Be eager to learn with a technical mindset. * Be a great problem-solver. * Be proactive and driven.
