Software Engineer in Test - Agile, C#, JavaScript, Automation Testing, Web API testing - Nottingham - £35,000 - benefits include pension scheme, 25 days holiday, life assurance, early finish Fridays plus much more The Role A Software House based in Nottingham are looking for a Software Engineer in Test (agile, C#, automation testing, web API testing) to join their development and testing team, working on cloud based projects. The Software Engineer in Test (agile, C#, automation testing, web API testing) will play a key role in the vision and strategy of new projects and existing ones; you will need initiative, a creative and technical mind to be able to build frameworks and test scripts. The work you do as the Software Engineer in Test (agile, C#, automation testing, web API testing) will be used across the UK and the rest of the world. The Software Engineer in Test (agile, C#, automation testing, web API testing) must have a strong understanding and hands on experience with both manual and automation testing and be 100% confident when testing API's. As the Software Engineer in Test (agile, C#, automation testing, web API testing) you will be involved in maintaining / increasing the quality of the products and develop functional test scripts and cases throughout the varies tech stack including desktop products, and web applications (front and back end) Role Requirements: Experience with at least one language (C#, Python, JavaScript etc) Manual Testing - functional, regression, UAT, system testing Automation Testing - Front end, back end, API testing Agile, Scrum environments Desire to learn and progress in your career Clear communicator Experience writing test cases and implementing them Desirable Requirements: Experience with Git etc CI / CD (continuous integration / continuous delivery) Jira or similar (Task, Defect etc) Confluence of similar Non functional / performance testing The company The company are recognised across the world for their design and manufacturing of electro-mechanical products and work with large multinational companies in lots of different sectors (such as automotive etc).
