Junior Automation Tester Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to £40k Industry: Software Job Description This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Software Tester looking to break into the world of test automation. You will be joining a global organisation who are leading the way in using cloud technologies within their industry. As such, exposure to cloud and test automation will be a real advantage. A passion for learning and self-development will be crucial as you start working with tools such as Selenium with C# and SpecFlow with Gherkin. Job Requirements Work closely with software engineers, product owners, and other testers as part of a cross-functional Agile development team Approach work with a 'continuous improvement’ mindset that positively impacts your team Follow and encourage strong software testing practices such as BDD, TDD and pair programming Help to troubleshoot functional and performance issues in both development and production systems Analyse test results and identify and report any associated risks Work in a regulated environment and ensure projects are delivered to industry and company standards Desirable skills: Working knowledge of Cloud Services Knowledge or exposure to programming languages, C# would be preferable Experience with automation tools such as SpecFlow (Gherkin), Selenium or similar A good understanding of testing Rest APIs and services For more information on this role or other similar roles please contact Richard Bailey Xpertise are acting as an employment agency and business
