Should you be interested please apply separately.* We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, talented and experienced Health Planner to join our expanding redevelopment team. Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, with specialist centres for Major Trauma, Hyper-acute Stroke, Paediatrics, Renal Transplant, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine. Based in North West London, our hospitals - Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, St Mary's and The Western Eye provide services for nearly two million people. With our academic partner, Imperial College London, we are one of the UK's seven academic health science centres, working to ensure the rapid translation of research for better patient care and excellence in education. Distinctly historic in parts and state-of-the-art in others, our estate poses some significant challenges. These are being addressed through a 10 year re-development strategy which will see substantial re-configuration and investment. Supported by funding from the Health Infrastructure Plan funding from the Department for Health and Social Care the Trust is progressing its plans for major redevelopment and refurbishment at its St Mary's, Charing Cross and Hammersmith/Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea sites. This role is pivotal in shaping and improving the future estate of the Trust. The Trust is expanding its existing redevelopment team, bringing in the skills and capacity needed to effectively manage this redevelopment programme. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a professional healthcare planning related qualification, training or relevant experience. They will have a proven track record of clinical design and commissioning aspects of the redevelopment programme. Key to their success will be strong experience in delivery.
