Job Description As Gear4music continues to look towards the future we are excited to bring on board a number of passionate professionals to form part of our dynamic, growing Customer Services team. As providing a first class service to our international customers is our number one priority, we are looking to hire additional staff members on a permanent basis. Responsibilities · Answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers · Providing customers with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments & equipment · Completing general office administrative duties · Resolving challenging customer enquiries and escalating where appropriate · Becoming a valued member of our specialist Customer Service team! Role Requirements - To be successful in your application, please ensure that your experience aligns with the following: Essential Skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Confidence and an exceptional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers · A good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment is vital Desired Skills · Some experience of working in a customer service environment · Computer literate to a high standard, with good Microsoft Office skills · Reliable and committed to providing first class advice and service · Highly communicative · Ideally have an interest and appreciation of music · Additional spoken language (desirable but not essential) Useful Information This is a permanent role, working week: 39.5 hours per week Monday-Friday (this may include two Saturdays or Sundays per month in exchange for a weekday off).
