Requirements The Role The infrastructure engineer will be responsible for the design, build, deployment and maintenance of the Network, Server and Security infrastructure for Soho House and its associated fascias (Quentin, Soho Works, Retail and The Ned). This role will roughly be 60% project focused and 40% business as usual/support focused. The role will be based at the London Support Office and remotely and reports directly to the Group IT Security and Infrastructure Manager with whom they will work with to ensure we keep a high security and infrastructure posture throughout all Soho House & Co properties and systems. Responsibilities * Assist with putting together bill of materials and scoping of new house openings and refurbishments projects * Configuration and maintenance of networks and servers (Palo Alto, Cisco, Ruckus, HPE/Aruba and Windows Server 2012/2016) * Carry out network infrastructure projects and new house opening projects (On-site globally) * Documentation of new and existing network and server infrastructure * Handover support of new network and server infrastructure to in-house and third-party managed service providers * Carry out security projects including implementing of new security tools/functionality across networks and systems globally without disrupting business operations * Research and development of new technologies and products to meet business requirements and improve way of working * Assist with administration work including change requests, updating and managing infrastructure/security support tickets * Carry out due diligence on third party works carried out to ensure all infrastructure and security requirements are met (Resilience, best practises and security) * Run and review quarterly cyber security scorecard scans on all corporate domains and analyse/remediate * Run and Manage monthly vulnerability scans for all internal and external facing networks * Assist with resolution of internal and external vulnerabilities (Implementing fixes for or working with third-parties to resolve) * Carry out quarterly/bi-annually on-site visits to review network infrastructure Required Skills/Qualifications: * Highly technical * Experience working with and configuring Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 Operating Systems, features and roles * Experience working with Microsoft software/components like SQL, IIS, Active Directory (All components), PowerShell * Experience administering Office365 especially large-scale changes using PowerShell * Experience working with Hypervisors * Following vendor skills/experience required: * Scale Computing (RHEL KVM) * VMWare ESXI * Microsoft Hyper-V * Experience working with Layer 3/Layer 7 Networking * Following vendor skills/experience required: * Palo Alto Networks (Firewalls and Product Suite) * Cisco (Switching) * HPE/Aruba (Switching) * Ruckus (Wireless) * Microsoft Windows Server and Applications * Security design principle conscious * Experience working with large scale (50+ sites) MPLS/VPLS Networks and VPN site to site connectivity * Experience working with static routing and dynamic routing protocols for large network environments (OSPF, BGP) * Experience working with Data Centres (covering multiple regions) * Experience working with SD-WAN * Following vendor skills/experience required * Silver Peak * CloudGenix * Experience working with Azure, AWS or GCP with an understanding of Cloud environments * Experience working with SSO/SCIM/OATH/SAML (Okta, ADFS and Azure AD) * Experience working with Airwatch * Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Very good time management * Great/Quick troubleshooting thought process * Ability to look at current environments and recommend better ways of working (New ideas) * Very high attention to detail * Flexible schedule * Ability to travel internationally * Strong verbal and written communication skills Benefits Soho House offers competitive compensation packages that feature global benefits and perks.
