Job Description

The Position Arch are currently recruiting for an Agency Manager to join our expanding business. We are looking for a candidate with a proven background in the Insurance sector. The role will be the key point of contact for handling of Agency related tasks across all business units within Arch. Job Responsibilities Be the single, central point of contact for the business to coordinate all matters relating to Agency Management. Manage the Due Diligence process, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Coordinate the onboarding of new Brokers, appointed representative and sub agents. To manage the termination of Agency relationships following appropriate sign off from senior management. Manage the business development process for approval of new agencies Manage the due diligence / quality assurance exercise safeguarding high quality standards and the compliance with internal guidelines as well as considering external regulatory requirements Support the decision-making process for onboarding of new brokers Manage and oversee the performance of agreements with agencies Liaise with Senior Management and the Risk Committee to provide assurance of adherence to agreed SLAs. Liaise with IT to ensure Broker records are up to date on Policy Administration Systems. Required Skills/Experience Demonstrate a high level of problem solving and the ability to resolve issues. Strong analytical skills Ability to manage own workload, prioritising tasks appropriately and ensuring that SLAs are achieved. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people face to face and over the telephone. Knowledge of CASS 5 (Client Money Rules). Knowledge of the UK Regulatory Framework. Desired Skills/Experience Ideally degree educated Ideally CII qualified Education Strong experience in a similar role with a demonstrable track record of success. Experience working with a related area for example within a broking business or related organisation. Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact with and influence
