We are seeking a leader to join Gilead's Corporate Global Giving team, representing Gilead's corporate grants team in the Australia, Canada and European (ACE) regions. The role will report to the Director of Global Corporate Giving and will be responsible for executing Gilead's Global grant making strategy and CSR across the ACE region. **Essential Duties and Job Functions** + Represent the corporate giving team for the Australia, Canada and European regions. + Lead efforts across the ACE region to ensure local giving strategies align with global giving priorities. + Manage a small team, including external vendors. + Collaborate with cross-functional partners and across geographies to develop and maintain strong working relationships to advance global giving priorities. + Oversee the submission, review and approval of all grant requests through Gilead's review committee and business conduct review process. + Manage ACE grant budgets to target, ensuring appropriate alignment of spend across regions and therapeutic areas. + Work across regions to create efficiencies and best stewardship of resources invested in the community-including effective collaborations with in-country teams who may not have direct reporting lines into Public Affairs Apply best practices, knowledge of local trends and changing regulatory environment to inform Gilead's approach to grant making in regions with disparate social and regulatory norms. + Provide seamless grantee experience (e.g., setting selection criteria, grants review/compliance process, grants monitoring, financial stewardship, program evaluation and reporting). + Develop opportunities for relevant funding collaborations and partnerships to strengthen Gilead's leadership role and strategic direction for the global grant portfolio. + Oversee all grant agreements, reporting requirements and financial stewardship of grantees. **Knowledge, Experience and Skills** + Educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant experience in global grant making within the pharmaceutical industry + Demonstrated knowledge of regulations and best practices specific to international corporate grants management and specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. + Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working collaboratively, yet in a leadership role, with cross-functional teams. + Strong decision-making skills and professional maturity is essential. + Ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders and synthesize interests and priorities into staff project planning and management. + The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of personal integrity and teamwork consistent with Gilead's core values. + Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. **_Gilead_** **_Core Values_** + Integrity (always doing the right thing) + Teamwork (collaborating in good faith) + Excellence (working at a high level of commitment and capability) + Accountability (taking personal responsibility) + Inclusion (encouraging diversity) **Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)** It is the policy of Gilead Sciences, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collec
