We are looking for an individual to join us for a 12-month placement in an exciting Global Platform Engineering team. Gaining an in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of the Ensono Envision Platform which provides the monitoring & management framework used to support our clients. Understanding and enforcing the need for robust security policies in everything you deliver. Integrating best of breed toolsets into the platform to support change and new services. Working within the existing tools and security frameworks to ensure that you deliver robust, secure and maintainable code. Participating in all Agile activities & ceremonies, including User Story Refinement & estimating, Daily Standups and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. Maintaining and supporting the solutions delivered, or even better delivering to Operations the capability to maintain and support it themselves through training and documentation. Acting as the first point of contact for our Operations teams for problems with the Ensono Envision Platform (supported by the Development and Infrastructure Groups). Skills you will learn System integration o Joining up disconnected systems via consuming and creating APIs o Discovering data from remote systems for ingestion and use within our internal systems How to develop hybrid cloud solutions using Azure PaaS and languages such as C# and PowerShell You will learn the principles and process of workflow automation and understand how to build maintainable and reusable code. You will develop experience of security best practice and ensure that everything you do respects the security of our client environments.
