" About you We are currently recruiting for a part time Care Assistant to work 28 hours per week on a fixed term basis at Sunrise of Beaconsfield Previous experience within the Care sector is not essential as we provide full comprehensive training. All our new care team members undergo a 2 week induction programme including eLearning, commencement of your care certificate underpinning knowledge of 15 standards and practical sessions which include Memory Care Pathway, Falls documentation training, Dining experience and Allergen, Basic Care and Customer Service skills. We also arrange competency and shadow shifts as part of your training. Our Management team and Senior Care Assistants will be there every step of your career to guide and support you. We will give you a 10p enhancement on your hourly rate after 6 months service, 20p after 12 months and 30p for 2 year's service. As Care Assistant you will put the residents care and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. As Care Assistant in our Dementia neighbourhood you will build meaningful relationships with a specified number of residents and their families as you provide assistance with activities of daily living. You will attend to individual care needs and get to know their unique preferences and personalities. You will assist with daily activities providing residents with both physical and emotional support and personal care as needed. You will help serve food in the dining room, complete dining room clean-up and tidy resident's room. For the Dementia Care Assistant role, you will be able to use Dementia Techniques to validate and recognise each individual resident. You'll also have the opportunity to work across both Assisted Living and Reminiscence. About you Our strength lies in the quality of our care and in turn the people we employ to deliver that care.
