" About the role We are currently recruiting for Night Senior Care Assistants to join our dedicated team at Sunrise of Beaconsfield.We are looking for someone who is able to work 4 shifts per week. Our night shifts are 7pm to 7am. Our community is located within walking distance of Beaconsfield Old Town and main train station in the New Town where there are excellent connections to London, High Wycombe, Oxford, Birmingham and local nearby towns. We are also directly opposite a bus stop with regular bus routes to Slough and High Wycombe. We will give you a 10p enhancement on your hourly rate after 6 months service, 20p after 12 months and 30p for 2 year's service. As Senior Care Assistant you will put the residents care and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. As Senior Care Assistant you will assist with daily activities providing residents with both physical and emotional support and personal care as needed. As Senior Care Assistant you will be responsible for the smooth running of the shift, you will assign specific tasks to the care assistants and monitor their completion. You will develop, review and update the residents personal care plan to meet their changing physical, social and psychological needs. You will promote high standards of care by ensuring all team members are trained and supervised appropriately and you will communicate professionally and warmly with visitors family members, and other health care professionals. About you Our strength lies in the quality of our care and in turn the people we employ to deliver that care. Key things about you; \t * NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care desirable or a willingness to undertake the qualification \t * One year experience in long term care or assisted living or home health preferred \t * Ability to handle multiple priorities \t * Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills \t * Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills \t * Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and be considerate \t * Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people \t * Ability to work flexible hours \t * Medication administration training or/and a willingness to undertake training if required \t * Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) What we will give you We believe that happier employees provide a better level of patient care and delivery in their role.
