Job Description

Due to new project, we require a Senior Operations Manager to join us on at our flagship site in Motherwell on an 18-month fixed term basis. As our senior ops manager, you'll lead a team of supervisors and professionals who are manufacturing Honeywell's outstanding innovative products. You will demonstrate your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most hardworking production teams. You will use your sophisticated leadership abilities to drive safety, efficiency, and exceptional quality in one of Honeywell's strategic production facilities. Through collaboration with cross functional teams, you will prioritise team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a manager, you will mentor your team members in leadership and behavioural proficiencies in order to deliver high impact business results. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? * Develop supervisors of individual contributors * Lead productivity improvement projects * Strategy development * Drive culture of continuous improvement * Collaborate with customers and cross functional teams * Ensure practices and processes are robust * Talent management * Resource management in a dynamic environment * Develop strategic plans to ensure performance metrics are achieved * Drive a rapid problem solving culture * Lean manufacturing deployment * Supervise and ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
