Job Description

A successful luxury spa products manufacturer, with national presence, is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant. Based in their manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for assisting the finance team with remittances, invoices and payments to relevant suppliers. The successful candidate will receive 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme and development prospects as the company is rapidly expanding and looking to open various sites in the UK. Working Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm and based in Nottingham, you will prepare reports, analyse data and perform other adhoc finance admin duties. The role requires attention to detail, excellent data analysis, with experience in using Sage being highly advantageous. As the Finance Assistant your duties will include: * Logging remittances * Assisting with VAT returns * Analysing data and reporting findings * Export and Import duties * R&D costings * Control of Journals - purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control * Experience of foreign exchange would be a distinct advantage * Preparing month end and board packs * Any other adhoc duties as required To be a successful Finance Assistant you will have the following skills and experience: * Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role * Hold a Degree in Finance or equivalent * Be aware of FCA regulations and be able to remain compliant * Effective at working as part of a team and autonomously * Knowledge Sales Force would be advantageous but not essential * Positive outlook, good communicator and team worker The Finance Assistant will be working from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. In return, the Finance Assistant will receive a salary of £18,600 per annum as basic salary, pension scheme and employee assistant programme.
