Chief Adviser (Combinable Crops) Salary circa £53,838 Stoneleigh, Warwickshire About the role The Chief Adviser for Combinable Crops is a nationally recognised position of expertise. The role is charged with helping NFU deliver a vision for a profitable, responsible and globally competitive sector - respected for its contribution to the national economy, food supply and renewable energy. To do this, she or he must ensure that the NFU maintains and enhances its position as the principal representative and most effective and valued provider of trade association services to farming producers throughout England and Wales. This principal position is a pivotal one in the Food and Farming Department, an often fast-moving policy environment requiring effective and respected liaison with food processing, manufacturing and retailing sectors, as well as in Government, NGOs and Internationally. About you To succeed in this position, you will be strategically minded and results oriented, with the ability to manage and adapt to a varied and complex portfolio. You will have strong influencing skills and demonstrate robust leadership, team-working and management skills. You will have a strong sense of drive and urgency to deliver for our members but you should also be able to adapt your approach to achieve strategic long term goals for farming and the NFU.
