Job Description
Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading FMCG company in their search for Technical Operators to work in their leading facility in Telford Please do not apply if you do not possess previous Manufacturing experience Pay increases as experience and competence signed off. * Starting rate of £22,862 (Temporary) * Passing Quality control validation £27,164 (Temporary) * Basic full line plants (Annualised) £28,379 (Permanent role) * Fully competent on all plants £31,266 (Permanent role) For the successful Technical Operators, our client is offering * 4 on 4 off shifts (days & nights) * Permanent positions * Free Parking * Overtime also available * Pension scheme * Health care plan The role - Technical Operator: * Ensure products meet the standard for quality * Run the plant to standard operating procedures, which includes start-ups and changeovers * Liaising with plant development teams for improvement on standards * Maintain records on and hourly/daily basis, completing gap analysis * Ensuring observable standards are achieved for the line * Ensure safe working practices * Support training of process staff * Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder What our client is looking for in a Technical Operator; * Previous Manufacturing experience essential * Escalate when and if problems occur * Good communication skills to interact with fellow team members * Team worker, ability to liaise with all fellow team members * Ability to focus on getting things done in a methodical and organised way * Attendance & Punctuality a necessity Key skills or similar Job titles: Process Technician, Quality Assurance, QA Technician, Quality Controller, Food Manufacturing, Food Packaging Commutable From: Telford, Bridgnorth, Broseley, Shifnal, Newport, Market Drayton, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock For further information about this and other positions please apply now.This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Recruit4staff who are operating as a recruitment agency, agent, agencies, employment agency or employment business.
