Job Description

Looking for a change from the standard chef game? Has the Coronavirus made you appreciate those that need looking after? We're looking for someone to help look after the elderly people that stay with us. You won't need to care for them, however you will need to be able to have a good chat with them and be willing to lend a hand if needed. Most importantly you'll be interested in creating amazing meals, prepared with love and care from fresh ingredients to make those in our house happy! We all know how much a good meal can make a positive impact on someone's day, this is your chance to do that! You'll also get involved with ordering food and stock control. The job covers lunch & dinners, so the days you'll be working are over 4 days of the week that rotate. Starting at 08:00 - 14:00 and then picking back up again from 16:00-18:30. Those 4 days will start and then rotate, you'll do 4 days on and then 4 days off. When you're working on the days on you'll be covering for the house manager. A level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is essential. We're also looking for someone that is organised, adaptive, have the ability to work by yourself and importantly, you'll take an active part in the interest of our residents.
