Job Description
Field Engineer (Self Employed) Location: Fraserburgh Day Rate: Competitive Work: schedule: 5 days per week Contract Type: Self-Employed About the Company: Our client operates nationwide, covering 100% of the UK. Working on behalf of the leading internet service providers in the UK they have won awards for their growth and service excellence. Our client has been working in the Telecoms arena for a number of years, and have exciting opportunities to expand. Field Engineer Responsibilities: * Field engineer resource for a range of clients, providing installation, repair and maintenance of Broadband, Telephony and T.V services * Complete all work to the required quality standard as applied by our client in line with best working practices and client requirements * Educating their customers on the services installed while ensuring all services are operating to the customer's satisfaction * Work efficiently whilst being considerate and maintaining a clean environment and excellent customer satisfaction * Respond professionally and effectively to all customer requests and enquiries * Continually develop your professional abilities through completing timely any training requirements as communicated. * Comply with company fleet policy * Comply with current health and safety regulations aligned to H&S handbook, ToolBox Talks etc. * Ensure the operation of tools is carried out in a safe manner * Ensure work activities comply with current environmental regulations Field Engineer Requirements: * Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points * A Disclosure Check and Credit Check will be carried out * Interest in IT * Sound ability to diagnose problems with existing equipment and fixing them * Ability to communicate fluently with the customers and should possess good customer service skills * Ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by their customers * Customer-focused * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong logical skills and ability to prioritise tasks depending upon the emergency situations * Skilled at managing any kind of technical work in the field even with little supervision * Physically fit (due to the nature of the role) If you think that you are suitable for this Field Engineer role, please apply now!
