Field Engineer (Self Employed) Location: Fraserburgh Day Rate: Competitive Work: schedule: 5 days per week Contract Type: Self-Employed About the Company: Our client operates nationwide, covering 100% of the UK. Our client has been working in the Telecoms arena for a number of years, and have exciting opportunities to expand. Field Engineer Responsibilities: * Field engineer resource for a range of clients, providing installation, repair and maintenance of Broadband, Telephony and T.V services * Complete all work to the required quality standard as applied by our client in line with best working practices and client requirements * Educating their customers on the services installed while ensuring all services are operating to the customer's satisfaction * Work efficiently whilst being considerate and maintaining a clean environment and excellent customer satisfaction * Respond professionally and effectively to all customer requests and enquiries * Continually develop your professional abilities through completing timely any training requirements as communicated. * Comply with company fleet policy * Comply with current health and safety regulations aligned to H&S handbook, ToolBox Talks etc. * Ensure the operation of tools is carried out in a safe manner * Ensure work activities comply with current environmental regulations Field Engineer Requirements: * Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points * A Disclosure Check and Credit Check will be carried out * Interest in IT * Sound ability to diagnose problems with existing equipment and fixing them * Ability to communicate fluently with the customers and should possess good customer service skills * Ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by their customers * Customer-focused * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong logical skills and ability to prioritise tasks depending upon the emergency situations * Skilled at managing any kind of technical work in the field even with little supervision * Physically fit (due to the nature of the role) If you think that you are suitable for this Field Engineer role, please apply now!
