REGISTERED NURSE RGN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS £19.10 PER HOUR SMALL NURSING DEMENTIA CARE HOME Our client is a small privately owned Nursing Home in Bournemouth with an excellent caring loyal team. Part of a new and growing company with a clear vision, this is a great opportunity to be part of it. We are looking for a Registered Nurse RGN for Friday and Saturday Nights, 24 hours per week, you must be clinically strong and have previous Nursing experience, have NMC Registration, ability to run a shift and write care plans (digital care planning knowledge is desirable but not essential). You will ideally be local to the care home. Main Tasks for a Registered Nurse RGN - Nights: * Provide excellent nursing care in a safe, warm, happy environment that is homely in scale. * Be an example to colleagues by demonstrating the Company values: * One standard of care - excellent. Ensure the residents have given their consent prior to any examination, care, treatment or support taking place and that all residents are treated with respect. * Perform medical tasks as required including use of monitoring equipment; dispensing medication; phlebotomy; and management of urinary catheters, syringe drivers, PEG tubes. * Perform administrative duties to ensure that appropriate person-centred records are created and maintained for each resident, and health and safety standards are exceeded. * Communicate and liaise with residents and their loved ones, colleagues and other professionals to ensure safe and co-ordinated care is given to all residents. * Maintain familiarity with Company policies and procedures and participate in implementing the quality improvement strategy. * Lead a small cohesive team as the senior member of staff on a shift, whilst monitoring performance of carers and supporting their continued development. * Contribute as a key member of the care team supporting management in achieving our goal of excellent care in a safe, warm, happy environment that is homely in scale. Develop an area of clinical responsibility as a 'Champion'.
