Overview

Children's registered manager job, based in Bournemouth/Christchurch. Your new company Your new company is a well-known organisation that can provide a safe and caring environment for children and young people to develop and achieve. The home you will be based in has 'Good' overall rating from OFSTED. The children in the home that you will be overseeing range from 10 to 17 years of age, with whom all have complex behavioural difficulties. The residential home currently has two young people but is registered for up to four residents. Your new role Within your new role you will be responsible for your own team and ensuring that the needs of the vulnerable service users are always meet. This ensuring that the children and young people are in safe and comfortable environment. As Registered Manager your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to be on-call, which is done on a rota basis. What you'll need to succeed You will need experience as a Registered Manager (or in a similar role) or a minimum of two years' experience as a Deputy Manager for a Children's Residential Care Home. To be successful in this role you will also have a NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management and NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's workforce. You will have knowledge of the OFSTED inspection framework as well as a clear understanding of care regulations in Children's Homes. To be successful you must have a caring, patient and a great communicator. In your new role you will have to liaise with other working professionals. The ideal candidate will have a current full UK driving license. What you'll get in return You will receive up to £43,000 per annum dependant on experience.
