Head of Market Access, Immunology (Team of 3) Based in the offices in Maidenhead reporting into the UK Market Access Director. Leading a team of 3 direct reports. Objective: Overall accountability for the management of market access and early access strategies for the specific TA, maximising market access in the UK through the leadership of the overall commercial market access strategy and early brand plan. Strategic leader for market access as the key point responsible for directing, developing and leading a coordinated, high quality, diverse set of early asset and marketing professionals, across the market access matrix. Key responsibilities include: + To line manage, and provide leadership to, a team of AssetManagers and MA Marketeers; responsible for motivating individuals, givingstrategic direction and ensuring alignment of approach within the team,establishing a sustainable and positive team culture, outlining a clear visionand purpose for the team and expected values and working norms + To continually develop the technical, strategic andleadership skills of the team in order to raise the bar year on year. + To lead the asset teamwork across a business unit-Immunology, Oncology, Neurology/Other. Provide the portfolio perspective.Coordinate teams for all new assets/indications under the designated businessunit to evaluate the early global plan, complete anchors 1-3 for the UK andprovide feedback through touch points 1 & 2. + To be the central touch point in Market Access for GCD andother TA leads across the affiliate. To ensure all critical stakeholders acrossthe business who sit outside of the core asset team both within the affiliateand in WEC and Global are engaged with and communicated to on the progress ofthe team and involved in the process at key points to support with keydecisions + Have strategic oversight on the development of the earlylaunch plans for the assigned new asset/s and associated indications in theAbbVie pipeline + To engage with all relevant parts of the wider marketaccess division to understand and define the access strategies for pipeline andin-market products Qualifications Qualifications,Knowledge and Experience + Degree level education orequivalent in Life Science subject. + Post graduate qualification inMarketing, Business Acumen/MBA (Preferred). + Proven experience in developingand managing high performing teams in a relevant setting. + Proven excellence in pharmamarket access and marketing roles. + Experience in leadingsuccessful product launches and developing early strategic launch plans. + Deep knowledge of thestructure, needs and agendas of NHS funding systems, payers andinfluencers across the UK Travel Yes, 20 % of the Time Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code M Equal Employment Opportunity At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
