Job Description
If you have retail sales experience, are great with customers and confident enough to sell high value items then this could be just the job for you. Our client is an established retailer. They sell furniture, carpets, clothing and much more besides. They pride themselves on having a loyal customer base. You will be greeting customers, explaining the ranges, taking orders, handling transactions, contacting customers by telephone, dealing with enquiries and ensuring customers get the very best possible customer service. Your New Job * Greet customers to the store and find out how you can help them * Assist customers with information and their buying decision * Explain the ranges available within their budget * Selling higher value items * Close the sale * Process orders * Handle transactions * Deal with enquiries * Contact customers to provide after care service * Help to increase sales Requirements About You * At least 2 years experience in retail * Ability to sell and upsell * Good listening skills * Exceptional people skills * Can "close the deal" * Proactive person * Team player * Confident and ambitious Benefits Salary and benefits * Basic Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 plus overtime and individual commission on all sales * Permanent job - direct with the employer * Pension scheme * 28 days holiday per year * Staff discounts * Long term career opportunity within a secure and stable organisation * Genuine career prospects (you could reach management level within 12 months)
