Our client, a global leading telecommunication company, is recruiting for a Network Design Engineer (Pre-sales) to join their telecom project in the United Kingdom. Position Title Network Design Engineer (Pre-sales) Position Type Contract Start Date November 2018 Duration 3 months rolling Location Reading, UK Contact: Kresimir Zebic | +49 89 2388 98 55 Based in Reading area, the Client is looking for 1 wireless engineer and 3 transport engineers (IP/transmission/access) who would be responsible for supporting pre-sales bidding work, BOQ work, PO work and Pre-PO work. Responsibilities: * Pre sales Bidding work, Pre-sales solution support to rep. office in UK office. * Prepare the product BOQ (bill of quantities) BOM (bill of materials) for Customer PO and Pre-PO. * All PO, Pre-PO, contract and contract changing correlative BOQ. PO BOQ and configuration. PO change and other review process. Follow up the contract change internal process. * According to the sales BOM, survey data, planning data, make the delivery BOQ. Align with the DU (delivery unit). * Learn the company internal LTC process, can handle the process independently. * Support one of these 3 fields in regards to solutions making - RAN, Fixed network or Service solution * Learn the company internal LTC process, handle the processes independently. Qualifications: * Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel (lookup functions, pivots), PowerPoint, Outlook. * Familiar with one of the following: * network product or one of network product (ACCESS NETWORK, DATACOM, TRANSMISSION, MICROWAVE) * wireless product and solution or one of wireless product (WIRELESS NETWORK, RAN NETWORK, 3G/4G, PS NETWORK) * service solutions and telecom engineering work, network roll out, network integration or one of them. * Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
