Job Description

The Community Rehabilitation and Falls Service (CRAFS) is part of Guys and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, Adult Community Services is looking to recruit enthusiastic Band 4 Therapy Assistant. The Service covers both the Boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. Applicants should have experience of delivering rehabilitation to adult and older persons with various needs, multiple co-morbidities and falls with support from qualified therapy staff. The post holder will be required to support service developments and show flexibility when adapting to and leading change. The successful applicant will implement timely and person-centred assessments and rehabilitation, be involved in running strength and balance exercise classes, as part of an award winning falls prevention team. You will also carry out administrative tasks to support the teams. The role includes partnership working across teams within the Local Integrated Rehabilitation Services and other agencies within primary and secondary health and social care. The post holder will be part of a dynamic team and provides staff with a supportive and friendly working environment. Excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritise their workload are essential. The post holder will be required to contribute to the 7 day therapy service on the Pulross Intermediate Care Ward.
