Post details Job Title: Recruiter Location: London Department: HR Post Reports to: HR Manager Purpose of the job The post holder will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process for UK & Ireland using the most cost effective method possible. Vacancies could range from entry level roles through to senior management positions. The remit for the role will include full vacancy and candidate management throughout the recruitment life-cycle from vacancy briefing, through to advertising, attraction, interview and offer stages. ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Together with HR Manager evaluate job requests and review with managers. During the process, jobs are analyzed and evaluated. Identify and clarify all hiring specifications with hiring managers, present accurate and detailed job descriptions Advertise vacancies as appropriate including on LinkedIn, job boards, with job centres as required by Strategic Labour Needs and Training (SLNT) commitments, with agencies etc. Liaise with headhunters as and when necessary. Source active and passive candidates through networking, cold calling, advertisements, job fairs and internet research. Pre-screens all applications for all vacancies, presents managers list of candidates to interview, conducts interviews face to face and performs reference checks when required. Perform phone screens with all candidates as an initial step of the interview process and determine appropriate subsequent steps with hiring managers. Solicit and collect interview feedback from interviewers and hiring managers. Create a weekly recruiting report containing all open positions and a list of candidates in the pipeline to be made visible to the senior management team. Complete all recruitment related administration. Maintain records of applicants for vacancies and details of interviews held. File all associated documents for successful applications on the HR shared drive. Update details of temporary staff on HR shared drive. Collect interview feedback from interviewers and hiring managers during the face to face interviews. Carry out weekly meetings with hiring managers. Establish salary ranges/benchmarking, prepare all documents required for appointments including sending requests for approval with backup documentation, issue regret letters and respond to all enquiries. Source active and passive candidates through networking, cold calling, advertisements, job fairs and internet research. Work to help determine staffing strategy in partnership with the HR Manager. Attend job fairs and other events related to Dragados' recruitment requirements. Develop social networking channels and promote Dragados as an employer of choice. Visit project and regional office locations throughout the UK & Ireland as required. The work is somewhat varied with intense pressure for lengthy periods of time associated with demanding deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Direct sourcing experience; proven ability to utilise various sourcing channels Sound experience of screening and interviewing candidates for both specialist and volume roles University degree preferable in Human Resources Management and several years of experience in Recruitment. Headhunting and HR Consultancy experience is a plus. A sound knowledge of the principles of recruitment and job evaluation. A working knowledge of employment legislation, policies and procedures. Superior interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills. Ability to deal tactfully with staff, candidates. Ability to deal tactfully with HR Agencies & Headhunting Firms. Experience with MS Office and good IT skills
