Job Description

We are recruiting Bank Care & Support Workers to provide cover on night shifts when permanent staff are on holiday or absent. This role is based within an Extra Care Scheme in Sunbury on Thames . The shifts are 10 hour waking nights from 2115 - 0745 (includes a 30 minute break) If you are a people person, a good listener, hardworking, organised, patient and caring you could have just the right qualities to make an excellent Care Worker. You do not need to have any formal qualifications but an NVQ2 or above in Health and Social Care, or previous experience, is preferred. You must have good written and oral communication skills to enable you to communicate clearly with clients, colleagues and other agencies. You must also be able to prioritise workloads, and respond and prioritise calmly in an emergency. You will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS certificate, which we will pay for. We will also provide you with: * Enhanced hourly rates for NVQ qualifications and working unsociable hours * Free uniforms and personal protective equipment * Closing Date: 31 December 2019 Interviews: to be arranged
