Brendoncare Park Road are recruiting for Care Assistants - Nights- to work at our home based at Park Road, Winchester, providing nursing care for 40 residents. Who are you? For this role, we will require previous experience of working in a care role- this is not limited to caring for the elderly only; it can be experience gained with caring for children or young adults too. As our Care Assistant your duties will include: * Acting as a key worker to some residents, and ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate; * Providing personal care to the residents, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times; * Supporting new members of the team and providing constructive feedback; * Encouraging independence as much as possible To be considered for the role of Care Assistant we are looking for: * Flexibility in working hours, including working weekends; * A shared understanding and the ability to demonstrate our four key values * Caring, compassionate personality * Reliability and punctuality This is a full time position at 36 hours per week to be worked on a rota basis and to include alternate weekend working (Part time work is available). Night shift hours are 8pm to 8am. In return we offer an hourly rate of 9.70 (10.05 with NVQ2), enhanced rates for working Bank Holidays and 5.6 weeks holiday (including Bank Holidays). In addition we provide full training and continuing personal development including the opportunity to undertake an NVQ/QCF, a free uniform, free DBS check, paid breaks and free meals when on duty.
