Job Description
Part Time, Registered General Nurse - Dementia Care, Winchester Here at NonStop we are proud to be working with a Private Charity who run a specialist dementia care nursing home. Situated in Winchester the Care Home is located in the perfect place, with vast green spaces and rivers in one direction and the town centre in the other, boasting a great range of high street shops, supermarkets, bars restaurants and much much more. What we are offering: * The opportunity to work within an organisation who have recently received a "Good" Rating from the CQC in their last inspection meaning that they have been able to consistently prove that they provide high quality of care to their residents. * A stable working environment. The care home its self is set at a maximum capacity of 31 residents with plenty of nurses on duty at each time to ensure a high level of care can be provided. * Flexible working - we are currently offering a part time role of up to 3 days per week meaning that you would be able to work your work life around your home life. * A very competitive rate of pay , higher rates for hours/shifts outside of your contract in addition to increased weekend rates. Duties, responsibilities and expectations for this role include but are not limited to: * Developing with each resident an individual programme of care, assessing their needs and ensuring that the care is provided in accordance with their care plan. Reviewing and evaluating care plans on a regular basis. * Participate fully in the care of the residents, providing skilled nursing care enabling quality of life through the provision of effective care. * Ensure that prescribed drugs and treatments are correctly given in accordance with current legislation. Successful candidates require are required to have a nursing degree and be qualified to work as a Registered General Nurse in addition to having an active PIN from the NMC.
