Job Description
Our client runs a major international exhibition worth 25M+. We're looking for someone to come in and head up the commercial function consisting of the new business team and re-bookings. An understanding of operations will be useful but this doesn't form the crux of the role. Key to the success of the role will be leadership in helping to transform the team to take on more responsibility, develop new ideas, new revenue streams and become more commercial. We're looking for someone with gravitas who has 'been there and done it'; someone with strong management skills; someone who can inspire. The ideal candidate will likely be coming from another big name in the B2B events world such as Reed, Informa, UBM, Clarion, etc. Remuneration is circa 70K plus bonus but we'd still be keen to hear from candidates who require a touch more.
