Brendoncare are recruiting for Care Assistants to join our team of bank staff, and work at our Woodhayes home based in Exeter. Who are you? We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate our four key values; kindness, care, choice and community. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible care for our residents and our ability to make them feel like family within a loving home. We need you to be like minded in this approach, valuing the small things which are important to each of our residents. Although previous experience in this field is preferred it is not essential as full training is provided and your values are more important to us. As a Care Assistant your duties will include: * Assisting washing and dressing residents * Carrying out personal care * Working on a flexible roster * Encouraging independence as much as possible To be considered for the role of Care Assistant you must: * Be flexible in working hours, including working weekends * Be able to demonstrate our four key values * Have a caring, compassionate nature * Be punctual and reliable In return we offer an hourly rate of £8.70 (£9.00 with NVQ2 in Health and Social Care) In addition we provide full training and continuing personal development, a free uniform, free DBS check, paid breaks and free meals when on duty.
