Warehouse Operative (6 week FTC) Join our team at Gear4music! Job Description We are currently looking to recruit additional Warehouse Operatives to join our friendly warehouse team on a 6 week fixed term contract at our impressive distribution centre in Clifton, York. Responsibilities As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for packaging and labeling our musical products ready to send out to our customers located around the globe. We are looking for people who enjoy maintaining high standards in their work to ensure customers receive their deliveries on time, every time. Role Requirements - To be successful in your application, please ensure that your experience aligns with the following: Strong team player Good level of communication Good numeracy, literacy skills and computer literate Punctual & reliable work ethic Self-motivated Methodical Good attention to detail Good level of fitness Useful information This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends over a 5-day, 40-hour week across 7 days. There are 2x weekly shift patterns which will rotate each week for all staff and are as follows: 07:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday & 08:30 - 17:00 on Sunday & 14:30 - 23:00 Monday to Friday We have developed the above working pattern to allow for daily deep cleaning between shifts as an improved health & safety measure across our York distribution centre.
