Sharp Gaming is based in Manchester City Centre and stems from the gaming division at Degree 53. The platform is still in development and we are recruiting talented individuals to help bring our vision to life. Due to our successful growth, we are now looking for a Migration Test Analyst to join our team. What will I be doing? You will work with the Head of QA and Senior Test Analysts to define the test strategy and plan for all projects. You will also be working closely with the QA and Development teams to understand the new or existing solutions we implement for our clients. The Migration Team within Sharp Gaming has accountability for managing the end-to-end delivery life-cycle for all Migration projects. Working in this team, you will ensure that the Migration Deliveries are completed to a superior standard. You will work both independently and within a team to analyse, determine and execute internal testing requirements.Quality assurance is a critical component, due to the complexity of the platform and data migration aspect and the sensitive nature of the data. You will champion quality and ensure that everything delivered to the client meets our high expectations. You will be responsible for writing and executing the test scripts and reporting the results to the wider business. About You We are on a lookout for an excellent communicator (verbal and written) who is an experienced System/Data migration Analyst and has worked on complex systems and large-scale projects. You are adaptable, able to pick up new techniques and enjoy keeping up to date with advances in mobile/web technologies and how they can be applied to projects. You will also have: Knowledge and experience of RDBMS, data modelling and SQL Some experience of migration/post migration testing Experience of using/creating appropriate documentation: test strategy, test reports, test conditions, test cases and test procedures Experience with test management, issue tracking and project management tools Demonstrable knowledge of web/mobile application testing Experience of testing complex back office or financial systems At least 3 years-experience testing Experience of exploratory testing techniques Any experience with test automation is beneficial ITQSB/ISEB Qualification is a bonus Any experience working in an Agile development environment is useful Experience of the gambling industry would be beneficial Hard working and willing to go above and beyond learning new skills An interest in troubleshooting and problem solving What's in it for me? * Competitive Salary * Employee of the month * Monthly team lunches * Generous referral bonus scheme * 25 days holiday a year in addition to bank holidays * Flexi-time (start anywhere between 7.30am -9am - whatever suits you best!) * Company Pension Scheme * City Centre Office space with a cosy breakout area and Wii U and PS4 consoles Employment Type: FULL_TIME
